What is Management Quota in NEET MBBS?
The Management Quota in MBBS allows NEET-qualified students to secure direct admission into private and deemed medical colleges across India. Approximately 15% of seats in private medical colleges are reserved under this quota. These seats can be availed after the second round of counseling, or right from Round 1 in deemed universities.
Note: Government medical colleges do not offer management quota seats. They only allocate seats under the NRI Quota, based on NEET merit.
NEET 2025 Management Quota Eligibility Criteria
To apply for MBBS through the Management or NRI quota, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualification: Minimum 50% aggregate in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) in Class 12.
NEET Qualification: Must qualify NEET 2025 with the minimum required percentile.
Age Limit: Minimum age of 17 years as on December 31, 2025.
NRI Candidates: Must possess valid NRI documentation (passport, sponsorship letter, etc.).
Category Requirements: Reserved categories must submit valid certificates.
State Rules: Some states (like Karnataka) have their own quota tags like “Q” quota.
